TUCASA BACKGROUND
WHEREAS WE, The Seventh-Day Adventist Students from different Universities and Colleges in The United Republic Of Tanzania have firmly and solemnly need to organize, promote and liaise with the Church to bring spiritual growth to the Adventist students; WHEREAS, With recognition of the fundamental Beliefs of the Seventh-day Adventist Church, Mission and Vision of the Church and the Mission of Jesus Christ Our Saviour, thereby, WE like to ensure that, all Adventist students are well adhering to the fundamental beliefs of the church namely, The Bible, The Spirit of Prophecy and the Church Manual; AND WHEREAS WE, the Seventh Day Adventist students from different Universities and Colleges in The United Republic of Tanzania with recognition that, The United Republic of Tanzania is a Secular state pursuant to Article 3 of the Constitution of the United Republic of Tanzania of 1977 and that Every Citizen has a right to religion pursuant to Article 19; 3 NOW THEREFORE, this constitution is enacted by the “TUCASA MEMBERS” with the liaison of Special Constitution Committee from All zones for the purpose of ensuring that the fundamental beliefs of the Seventh Day Adventist church are vehemently adhered to.
To facilitate the proclamation of the everlasting gospel of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ as embodied in the Three Angels Message of Revelation 14:6 15 12, as reflected in the mission statement of the Seventh Day Adventist Church, to all Colleges and Universities students.
TUCASA members will grow in their relationship with Jesus Christ in harmony with the great prophecies of the Scriptures.
I. To foster the intellectual and spiritual growth in Universities and Colleges
II. To promote evangelism in colleges and Universities and their neighborhood with the aim of winning more souls for Christ.
III. To develop student leadership skills.
IV. To develop and increase the ability and confidence of the members in public preaching and witnessing.
V. To promote the involvement of Adventist Students from secular campuses in missionary and outreach programs through spiritual 16 monetary and material means at the disposal of the members.
VI. To promote and defend religious liberty and help to deal with challenges within secular institutions and to help each other in bearing burdens and tackling other communal problems.
VII. To create awareness, promote and encourage Seventh Day Adventist life style among members in campuses.

IX. To equip our students with Biblical principles and teachings that will help them face the challenges of the busy world, the post academic life and to be of service to the church.
